JD Vance (R-Ohio), the Republican nominee for vice president, said \u201cof course\u201d former President Trump has a plan to \u201cfix American health care\u201d in a Sunday interview and also outlined several benchmarks of a health care framework.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe, of course, does have a plan for how to fix American health care, but a lot of it comes down Kristen to deregulating the insurance market so that people can choose a plan that actually makes sense for them,\u201d Vance told NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a>\u2019s Kristen Welker on \u201cMeet the Press\u201d on Sunday when asked for specifics about the former president\u2019s health care plan.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cOn the one hand, fix the problems of Obamacare, while, on the other hand, Kristen, making sure that people continue to have good choices,\u201d Vance continued.<\/p>\n<p>Vance\u2019s comments come after Trump was pressed about his health care plan on the debate stage this past week. Despite years of campaigning on a \u201crepeal and replace\u201d message about Obamacare, Trump now indicated he would try to run it \u201cas good as it can be run\u201d unless there\u2019s a better and cheaper option.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s still never going to be great,\u201d Trump said. \u201cIf we can come up with a plan that\u2019s going to cost our people, our population less money and be better health care than ObamaCare, then I would absolutely do it. \u2026 We could do much better than ObamaCare.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When pressed by the debate moderators, Trump acknowledged that he doesn\u2019t currently have a plan to replace ObamaCare if it were repealed, saying, \u201cI have concepts of a plan. I\u2019m not president right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vance touted Trump\u2019s willingness to build on Obamacare, saying in the Sunday interview that \u201che could have destroyed the program\u201d while he was president. Still, instead, \u201cHe chose to build upon a plan even though it came from his Democratic predecessor,\u201d which, he said, \u201cI think it illustrates Donald Trump\u2019s entire <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roach to governing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump sought repeatedly during his time in office to overturn ObamaCare. After failing to come up with a better plan, Trump and congressional Republicans sought to repeal the law in 2017, but it failed by a single vote. The law\u2019s popularity subsequently soared, and Democrats won back control of the House chamber by campaigning on preexisting conditions.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Vance, in the Sunday interview, outlined some benchmarks of a plan that he said the Trump administration would support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut what President Trump\u2019s health care plan is is actually quite straightforward: You want to make sure the preexisting conditions are covered. You want to make sure that people have access to the doctors that they need.
