The production of an OVA for KonoSuba:<\/em>\u00a0God\u2019s Blessing on this Wonderful World!\u00a0<\/i>Season 3 has been announced. Not much else is known about the OVA at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n

KonoSuba:\u00a0God\u2019s Blessing on this Wonderful World!\u00a0<\/i><\/em>Season 3 aired during the Spring 2024 anime<\/a> season. It is based on the isekai comedy light novel series<\/a>\u00a0written by\u00a0Natsume Akatsuki<\/strong>\u00a0and illustrated by\u00a0Kurone Mishima<\/strong>, which was published under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label from 2013 to 2020 with 17 main volumes and three short story anthologies.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Season 3 is the first mainline\u00a0KonoSuba<\/em>\u00a0anime to be produced by\u00a0Drive<\/strong>, which previously produced the adaptation of 2023\u2019s\u00a0Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!\u00a0<\/em>spin-off. Studio Deen <\/strong>produced t<\/span>he previous KonoSuba\u00a0<\/em>seasons, which premiered in 2016 and 2017,\u00a0 and J.C.STAFF<\/strong>\u00a0produced 2019\u2019s\u00a0KonoSuba: God\u2019s Blessing on this Wonderful World Legend of Crimson\u00a0<\/i>movie.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

KonoSuba<\/em> began as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in 2012. The light novels\u00a0have inspired a manga adaptation by\u00a0Masahito Watari<\/strong> and several spin-offs. <\/span><\/p>\n
