A new album, <i>Horrible Occurrences<\/i>, is out December 6 \u2014 all adds up \u2014 and \u201cThe Year I Lived in Richmond\u201d is its opening track. A twinkling murder ballad, it is plainspoken but vivid, delivered in Ashworth\u2019s effortless drawl, cut up by tiny falsetto howls.
