Leaving aside unanswerable (for now) questions about how the vehicles were obtained, Wired thought it worth digging into whether a Cybertruck actually <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/tesla-cybertruck-russia-ukraine-war\/\">makes sense<\/a> as a \u201ctechnical,\u201d the term for modified civilian rides used by militaries and military groups.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What did the outlet find? Well, it\u2019s complicated. One expert noted the Cybertrucks\u2019 stainless steel makeup can take some abuse, and that they\u2019re both fast and quiet, a plus in a stealth operation. A second expert described the trucks\u2019 heavy reliance on software as potentially catastrophic; they\u2019re also insanely heavy, making maneuverability and traction on certain terrains tough.
