A second season of the Grand Blue<\/em> anime<\/a> adaptation has been announced with a teaser visual.<\/span><\/p>\n

To commemorate, the entirety of Season 1, which premiered in 2018, has been uploaded to YouTube<\/a> with English subtitles and will be available until October 11 at 11:59 PM JST.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grand Blue <\/em>is based on the Kodansha-published manga written by Kenji Inoue<\/strong> and drawn by Kimitake Yoshioka<\/strong>. It started serialization in <\/span>Good! Afternoon in 2014 and has <\/span>22 volumes as of April 2024. <\/span>Kodansha USA describes the premise as:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After moving out on his own to a seaside town, Iori Kitahara makes a college debut he never anticipated. A new chapter of his life unfolds, full of diving with beautiful girls and shenanigans with a gaggle of lovable bastards! Idiot-expert Kenji Inoue and <\/span>au naturel<\/span> authority Kimitake Yoshioka bring you a glorious college tale filled with booze-fueled antics!<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s first season was a Zero-g<\/strong> production <\/span>directed by Shinji Takamatsu<\/strong> (RoboHachi<\/em> director, Helck<\/em> sound director), who also served as script<\/a>writer and sound director.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Hideaoki Kusama<\/strong> was the character designer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
