Austin, TX –\u00a0<\/span>Tyler, The Creator has called out Elon Musk live on stage, U-turning on his stance towards the controversial Tesla CEO and owner of X.<\/p>\n

While performing at Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas this past weekend, the Odd Future founder changed some of the lyrics on his song \u201c911\u201d to take a shot at Musk.<\/p>\n

Instead of rapp<\/a>ing the original line, \u201cSucks you can\u2019t gas me up, shout out to Elon Musk,\u201d<\/em> Tyler tweaked it to: \u201cFuck Elon\u201d<\/em> \u2014 to a favorable reception from the crowd in attendance.<\/p>\n

Tyler had previously been a big supporter of Musk\u2019s, writing on X<\/a> (then Twitter<\/a>) in 2016: \u201cI HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY AND ANY IDEAS YOU HAVE AND STUFF GO FOR THEM NO MATTER WHAT NIGGAS SAY SHOUT OUT ELON MUSK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musk replied by saying: \u201cThanks Tyler.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyler also wrote<\/a> about the South African-born businessman: \u201cI LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR CHANGING THE WORLD AND MAKING THE EVIL OIL MEN WHO RUN THE WORLD HATE YOU.\u201d<\/p>\n

A number of other Hip Hop figures have recently done business with Elon Musk.<\/p>\n

Ice Cube\u2019s BIG3 basketball league is now streaming on X, although the rapper and actor was criticized for partnering with the Musk-owned platform.<\/p>\n

Cube hit back at the criticism by saying: \u201cShut yo bitch ass up! I ain\u2019t aligned with nothing, punk. I draw my own fuckin lines.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swizz Beatz also defended his and Timbaland\u2019s decision to partner with X for their Verzuz battle series<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

He said on Instagram: \u201cBut nobody said anything before we been on that platform since Verzuz started.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two legendary producers announced the deal with Musk\u2019s social media platform in June.<\/p>\n
