Jodeci singer DeVant\u00e9 Swing has been accused of \u201caiding\u201d Diddy in the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl.<\/p>\n

The Bad Boy boss and singer Aaron Hall were sued earlier this year for allegedly sexually assaulting Liza Gardner in 1990, and now Swing has been added to the lawsuit as a co-defendant.<\/p>\n

Garnder claims that the R&B star, who was in his early 20s at the time and is now 55, was present during the incident.<\/p>\n

The amended lawsuit, obtained by Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, says: \u201cUnbeknownst to Ms. Gardner at the time, Defendant Swing was in the room when this assault took place and did not take any steps to prevent this abuse from occurring.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was previously claimed in a sworn statement from a witness that Swing was \u201cleaning against the wall or furniture or something, watching whatever Puffy was doing to Liza.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swing allegedly served as Gardner\u2019s \u201cco-guardian at the time\u201d as he invited her on the trip<\/a> to New York where the alleged rape took place.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit claims Swing \u201chad a duty to protect [Gardner] as her parents entrusted him with her safety. He trafficked and or coerced the child [to] travel across state lines from North Carolina to New York and New Jersey with the hidden intention of providing the child with alcohol, and marijuana and prostituting the child to his A&R Combs [Diddy].\u201d<\/p>\n

Swing has not yet responded to being added to the lawsuit and the allegations contained within.<\/p>\n

Gardner was one of the first people to accuse Diddy of rape after the mogul\u2019s ex-girlfriend Cassie filed her initial lawsuit accusing him of sex trafficking and sexual assault.<\/p>\n

Gardner claimed in her original suit that Diddy and Hall took turns raping her and a friend after meeting them at MCA Records\u2019 offices in New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time Combs assaulted Ms. Gardner, she recalls feeling the side effects of the alcohol. She recalls Combs mounting her, and forcing up her skirt, pulling her underwear to the side and forcefully penetrating her,\u201d the complaint reads.<\/p>\n

Gardner also accused Puffy of being physically violent towards her in the days after the alleged assault.<\/p>\n

Diddy has denied all allegations against him, saying through his representatives: \u201cThese are fabricated claims falsely alleging misconduct from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute. This is nothing but a money grab.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
