Summitsphere has delayed<\/a> ANTONBLAST<\/em> from its previously planned November 12 release date to December 3, citing impacts on the game<\/a>\u2019s development team by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. It will be available for Switch and PC via Steam<\/a>. <\/p>\n

A new demo, the \u201cOne Blast Demo,\u201d will be made available for PC via Steam<\/a> as part of Steam Next Fest: October 2024 Edition from October 14 to 21. Summitpshere will also make efforts to bring this demo to Switch as an update to the existing demo.<\/p>\n

Here is the full message from Summitsphere on the delay:<\/p>\n

This is Tony, Studio Head at Summitsphere and Director on ANTONBLAST<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Summitsphere is a studio with roots planted across the southeastern United States, and as you\u2019ve likely heard, Hurricanes Helene and Milton have ravaged this area in particular. Relief efforts are currently underway for those impacted; we\u2019re sharing links to some of those so you can contribute if you like.<\/p>\n

As for us, we are thankfully all safe\u2026 but the hurricanes have directly and indirectly affected a number of our team and their ability to work, with some going weeks without power.<\/p>\n

I have personally gone on record stating that the team has no interest in releasing anything less than the best version of ANTONBLAST<\/em>. As such, we have made the difficult decision to delay the game\u2019s launch from November 12 to December 3.<\/p>\n

Now, I can app<\/a>reciate that having to wait that much longer kinda sucks\u2026<\/p>\n

So to make it up to you, I\u2019m happy to announce that we\u2019re bringing you One Blast Demo, playable at Steam Next Fest next week. This demo will feature a totally revamped Boiler City, as well as the \u201cnever-before-playable Slowroast Sewer (and maybe a few other surprises, too).<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also be making efforts to bring One Blast Demo as an update to Nintendo Switch within the coming weeks, pending platform approval.<\/p>\n
