\n A 40-year-old died Thursday after being shot twice in the neck in an app<\/a>arently targeted broad-daylight slaying in the Bronx, police said.<\/p>\n

The gunfire broke out at the corner E. 225 Street and White Plains Road in Wakefield around 11 a.m. when an unknown triggerman got out of a car, walked up to the victim and shot him twice, according to police.<\/p>\n

The gunman jumped back in the car, believed to be a black BMW, and took off, cops said.<\/p>\n

EMS rushed the 40-year-old, whose name was not released pending notification of family, to Jacobi Hospital but he could not be saved.<\/p>\n

There were no arrests.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
