A ninth <\/span>new hero visual<\/span> has been revealed for the <\/span>upcoming third season<\/span> of <\/span>One-Punch Man<\/span><\/i>, spotlighting the S-Class ranked superhero Zombieman. It has not yet been announced when season three will debut.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is the latest hero visual released after previously highlighting other characters such as Saitama, King, Genos, Fubuki\/Hellish Blizzard, Silver Fang, Terrible Tornado\/Tatsumaki, Kamikaze, and Child Emperor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Season three\u2019s production staff include some returning staff from the second season like <\/span>Tomohiro Suzuki <\/b>as screenwriter, <\/span>Chikashi Kubota<\/b>, <\/span>Shinjiro Kuroda<\/b> (<\/span>Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy<\/span><\/i> Season 2 Episode 4 and 5 prop design assistant), <\/span>Ryosuke Shirakawa<\/b> (<\/span>Tsurune, Spy x Family<\/span><\/i> Season 1, <\/span>A Silent Voice<\/span><\/i> key animator) as character designers, and <\/span>Makoto Miyazaki<\/b> as music composer. <\/span>J.C.STAFF<\/b> is handling the animation production after working on season two.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The first season was directed by <\/span>Shingo Natsume<\/b> and produced by <\/span>Madhouse<\/b>, airing in 2015. A second season was released in 2019 and was directed by <\/span>Chikara Sakurai<\/b> at J.C.STAFF. Crunchyroll streamed both series<\/a> worldwide, outside of Japan.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime<\/a> series is based on the superhero action manga written by <\/span>ONE<\/b> and illustrated by <\/span>Yusuke Murata<\/b>. It has been serialized on Shueisha\u2019s Tonari no Young Jump since June 14, 2012 and has released 32 tankobon volumes as of November 2024. The manga originally began as a self-published work in 2009 on the Japanese manga website Nitosha.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
