Bandai Namco Entertainment<\/strong> has released a \u201cHow to Play\u201d trailer for the recently announced Death Note Killer Within<\/em> \u201conline social<\/a> deduction game<\/a>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The gist is that a match alternates between two phases: Action and Meeting. During the Action phase, Team Kira and Team L will carry out tasks in order to achieve their respective goals. For instance, Kira and his follower have to steal the IDs of the investigators to take them out with the Death Note, and killing L will result in a victory for Team Kira. When it\u2019s the Meeting phase, players can try to arrest the one who\u2019s controlling Kira by voting based on the evidence they\u2019ve accumulated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding another layer is the Command Card system, where Kira, Kira follower, and L can trigger special abilities to aid their respective efforts. The resource for using the cards is generated by raising a team\u2019s World Progress level, and filling out the World Progress bar is another way of securing victory if the teams can\u2019t take down the other side\u2019s leader.<\/span><\/p>\n
