Google implemented strict rules for EU political ads in 2019. Advertisers are required to verify their identity and disclose ad sponsorship. Many campaigns rely on Google\u2019s platforms, including <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>, to broadcast their messages broadly and cost-effectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Big picture<\/strong>. Google\u2019s decision to exit EU political ads is not unprecedented. The company has previously stopped political ads in jurisdictions like France, Canada and Brazil, citing similar regulatory issues.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The TTPA\u2019s broad scope raises concerns about overreach and the potential for misclassification of issue-based ads as political, which could disrupt advertisers and limit public discourse on key issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s next<\/strong>.
