\n\tJonathan Bailey has weighed in on his Bridgerton<\/em> future. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe season two lead confirmed during an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers<\/em><\/a> Thursday that he is returning for season four of the hit Netflix series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tBailey, who plays Viscount Anthony Bridgerton<\/em> in the Shonda Rhimes-produced period piece, said he will be \u201creuniting with the family next week.\u201d The late night host joked with the actor that it must never get boring. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt changes every year, you know, every two years,\u201d he said, referencing the show\u2019s rotating leading cast format. Bailey starred alongside Simone Ashley as the leading couple of the show\u2019s second season, reprising their roles during season three, led by Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton. He added, \u201cWhat an amazing thing to be a part of.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tBailey also showed some love for his onscreen brother, Luke Thompson, and the recently announced season four leading cast addition, Yerin Ha. Bridgerton\u2019s fourth season will follow the pair\u2019s love story, following in the format of seasons past. \u201cThere\u2019s going to be lots of space for new people to come in and Luke and Yerin are gonna be great, so I\u2019ll always pop back and say hello,\u201d the actor said.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to the logline, Bridgerton season four \u201cturns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happ<\/a>ily married, Benedict is loath to settle down.\u201d However, when he meets a mysterious Lady in Silver at Violet Bridgerton\u2019s (Ruth Gemmell) masquerade ball, that all changes \u2014 and Anthony (Bailey) and Colin couldn\u2019t be prouder. Julia Quinn\u2019s\u00a0An Offer from a Gentleman<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 the third book in her novel series \u2014 will serve as the basis for Benedict\u2019s season. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe 36-year-old actor is currently on the widely publicized press tour for John M. Chu\u2019s long-awaited film adaptation of Wicked<\/em>. Bailey stars as the charming and charismatic Fiyero, originally portrayed by Broadway actor Norbert Leo Butz in the stage musical. Wicked<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 which has been a Broadway hit for the last two decades \u2014 serves as a prequel to\u00a0The Wizard of Oz<\/em>, following the unlikely friendship between Elphaba (played by\u00a0Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande) while at Shiz University in the Land of Oz.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile there\u2019s no news<\/a> yet about when fans can expect\u00a0Bridgerton<\/em>\u00a0season four, Brownell told\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter\u00a0<\/em>at the London premiere of season three, part two, that they will likely have to wait another\u00a0two years before season four\u00a0hits the streamer.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
