Happ<\/a>y\u2019s Place<\/em> is staying open on NBC. The Peacock Network has ordered additional episodes for the freshman comedy series<\/a>\u2019 first season. This news<\/a> comes only a week after the network ordered additional scripts to be produced to keep the writers\u2019 room open and running.<\/p>\n

Reba McEntire, Melissa Peterman, Belissa Escobedo, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn star in the Happy\u2019s Place<\/em>\u00a0comedy, which follows Bobbie (McEntire) after she inherits her father\u2019s bar and learns she is to run it with the half-sister she never knew she had.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new order adds five episodes to the season one count, meaning viewers will see 18 total episodes of Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> this season.<\/p>\n

NBC revealed that 14 million viewers watched the series premiere across all platforms, and the series has improved its timeslot by +88% in the 18-49 demo.<\/p>\n

Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> currently airs on Friday nights on NBC, paired with episodes of Lopez Vs Lopez<\/em>.<\/p>\n
