Airport on a federal charge of murder-for-hire. The Chicago-born Grammy winner and drill rap pioneer is alleged to have conspired to kill a rival r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er as retaliation for the 2020 killing of King Von, a member of Durk\u2019s Only the Family (O.T.F.) collective. According to the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-cdca\/pr\/chicago-rapper-lil-durk-arrested-complaint-alleging-he-ordered-murder-attempt-resulted\">federal criminal complaint<\/a> filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Durk put out a bounty on the life of Quando Rondo in 2022. The planned hit was not successful, though it did result in the fatal shooting of Saviay&#8217;a Robinson, Rondo\u2019s cousin.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Durk, 32, whose legal name is Durk Devontay Banks, remains in federal custody and was <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7.com\/post\/rapper-lil-durk-pleads-not-guilty-murder-hire-charges-los-angeles\/15546205\/%20\">arraigned in Los Angeles<\/a> on November 15. He has been charged with conspiracy to use interstate facilities to commit murder for hire resulting in death. He has pleaded not guilty.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Representatives for Lil Durk have not responded to a request for comment.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Here\u2019s what we know about the Lil Durk case so far:\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-265767\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<h5 class=\"headline\" style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_is_Lil_Durk\"><\/span>\n        <b>Who is Lil Durk?<\/b><br \/>\n      <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            Lil Durk established himself as a stylistic maverick long before the release of his debut album (2015\u2019s <i>Remember My Name<\/i>). As a teenager in Chicago, he released a string of mixtapes and collaborations that helped define the menacing, visceral strain of street rap known as drill, and establish melodic rap as a creative force. His commercial breakthrough came in 2020 with <i>Just Cause Y\u2019All Waited 2<\/i>, buoyed by the success of the single \u201c3 Headed Goat\u201d featuring Lil Baby and Gunna. \u201cLaugh Now Cry Later,\u201d a collaboration with Drake, soon followed to global success; 2021 saw the release of the country-trap smash \u201cBroadway Girls\u201d featuring Morgan Wallen, and <i>The Voice of The Heroes<\/i>, a collab album with Lil Baby. His 2022 album <i>7220<\/i> debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Earlier this year he won a Grammy for Best Melodic Rap Performance for his song \u201cAll My Life,\u201d featuring J. Cole. The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of his arrest came shortly after he announced plans to release a new album. <i>Deep Thoughts<\/i> was due out on November 22 but has now been pushed back indefinitely.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-265768\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<h5 class=\"headline\" style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Was_Lil_Durk_the_only_OTF_member_arrested\"><\/span>\n        <b>Was Lil Durk the only O.T.F. member arrested?<\/b><br \/>\n      <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            One day prior to Lil Durk\u2019s October 24 arrest, five men affiliated with O.T.F. were charged with a murder-for-hire plot, alleging that they conspired to \u201ctrack, stalk, and attempt to kill\u201d a rapper initially identified as T.B. Criminal charges <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/business\/legal\/lil-durk-ordered-quando-rondo-murder-planned-flee-country-feds-1235811786\/\">unsealed by federal prosecutors<\/a> revealed the individual as Quando Rondo (real name Tyquian Bowman).\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            The charges allege O.T.F. is a \u201chybrid organization,\u201d part rap group and part criminal enterprise. Court documents <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/rapper-lil-durk-arrested-murder-hire-plot\/story?id=115141549\">allege<\/a> that Durk put \u201ca monetary bounty out for an individual with whom [he] was feuding.\u201d Adding: \u201c[Durk] ordered [Quando Rondo]\u2019s murder and that the hitmen used Banks and O.T.F.-related finances to carry out the murder.\u201d In addition to the bounty, it is alleged Durk promised the men opportunities in the music business as payment.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            A credit card linked with Lil Durk and O.T.F. was used to purchase flights for the co-conspirators to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a> from Chicago to California, where they believed Quando Rondo was located.
