A <\/span>new key visual<\/span> has been revealed for the upcoming <\/span>Duel Masters Lost: Gekka no Shinigami<\/span><\/i> anime<\/a>, which serves as a sequel to <\/span>Duel Masters Lost: Tsuioku no Suisho<\/span><\/i>. The sequel anime will begin streaming in Japan on the franchise\u2019s \u201cDuelTube\u201d <\/span>YouTube channel<\/span><\/a> and other platforms on December 21, 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tsuioku no Suisho <\/span><\/i>ended today with the fourth episode. No announcement has been made for the anime\u2019s streaming plans outside of Japan. <\/span>Gekka no Shinigami <\/span><\/i>serves as its sequel and is based on the manga of the same name.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Duel Masters Lost<\/span><\/i> features two <\/span>Duel Masters Win<\/span><\/i> characters that include <\/span>Shotaro Uzawa<\/b> as Win Kirifuda and <\/span>Wataru Hatano<\/b> as Abyssbell = Jashin Emperor (Jashin-kun). <\/span>J.C.STAFF<\/b> is handling the animation production for both anime.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Riki Fukushima<\/b> (<\/span>Tamayomi: The Baseball Girls, Beyblade the Movie: Fierce Battle<\/span><\/i>) directed the Tsuioku no Suisho anime, with <\/span>Yoichi Kato<\/b> (<\/span>Duel Masters<\/span><\/i>) as screenwriter, <\/span>Chikara Hashizume<\/b> (<\/span>Requiem of the Rose King<\/span><\/i>) as character designer, and <\/span>Seiko Akashi<\/b> (<\/span>Cardfight!! Vanguard<\/span><\/i>) as art director.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Other staff include <\/span>Kyosuke Ishikawa <\/b>as color designer, <\/span>Toshitaka Mogi<\/b> as photography director, and <\/span>Hiroyuki Tadokoro<\/b> (<\/span>Duel Masters King Max<\/span><\/i>) as CG director.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The original <\/span>Duel Masters Lost<\/span><\/i> manga is illustrated by <\/span>Yo Kanebayashi<\/b>, with Duel Masters franchise creator <\/span>Shigenobu Matsumoto<\/b> credited as original creator. The manga began serialization on Shogakukan\u2019s Weekly CoroCoro Comic website on February 1, 2024. Kanebayashi and Matsumoto also worked on the <\/span>Gekka no Shinigami <\/span><\/i>sequel manga.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Duel Masters Lost<\/span><\/i> series<\/a> also includes the \u201cAbyss Revolution Gaiden: Death Bell Crystal\u201d card pack for the Duel Masters franchise, which went on sale in Japan on February 17, 2024. The latest anime entry, <\/span>Duel Masters Win: Duel Wars<\/span><\/i>, premiered in Japan in April 2023.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Duel Masters Lost<\/span><\/i> is described as an \u201calternate time story\u201d set at the same time as the current <\/span>Duel Masters Win<\/span><\/i>. It follows 16-year-old Win Kirifuda who has lost everything from his old world and is drawn into a high stakes battle to reclaim what was his.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
