A sequel film for the recently released <\/span>Pui Pui Molcar the Movie: MOLMAX<\/span><\/i> anime<\/a> film has been announced to be in the works. The announcement was confirmed on the first day of the film\u2019s theatrical release in Japan on November 29, 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mankyu<\/b> (<\/span>The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague<\/span><\/i>) directed the new CG film, with <\/span>Yuko Kakihara<\/b> (<\/span>Buddy Daddies, Cells at Work!<\/span><\/i>) writing the script<\/a> and screenplay, and <\/span>Tomoki Misato<\/b> (<\/span>Pui Pui Molcar<\/span><\/i> season 1 director) serving as chief supervisor and original creator. <\/span>TOHO NEXT<\/b> is distributing the film, while\u00a0Monster\u2019s Egg <\/strong>is in charge of the film\u2019s animation production. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The film features two <\/span>voice cast members<\/span> that played human characters in the film, which include <\/span>Masaki Aiba<\/b> as the CEO of the Many Many Eyes Company and <\/span>Akio Otsuka<\/b> as Dodge\u2019s driver.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Other voice cast members include <\/span>Akari Kito<\/b> as Otohime, <\/span>Ayumu Murase<\/b> as Canon, and <\/span>Yukari Tamura<\/b> as Great Magic Angel Morumi.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pui Pui Molcar the Movie: MOLMAX<\/span><\/i> was animated in 3DCG in contrast to the original <\/span>Pui Pui Molcar <\/span><\/i>anime series<\/a>\u2019 stop-motion animation.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The first season of <\/span>Pui Pui Molcar <\/span><\/i>aired in 2021, followed by the second season <\/span>Pui Pui Molcar Driving Schoo<\/span><\/i>l in 2022. <\/span>Shin-Ei Animation<\/b> and <\/span>Japan Green Hearts<\/b> handled the animation production for the first and second seasons. A compilation film of the first season was released in July 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The series has inspired numerous merchandise, a Nintendo Switch video game<\/a>, and several cross-franchise collaborations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Netflix is streaming both seasons of <\/span>Pui Pui Molcar<\/span><\/i>, which describes the main synopsis as:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
