\n It\u2019s a tie between this and not moving over on that door.<\/p>\n

Kate Winslet is reckoning with some of her past work in light of the #MeToo movement, telling Vanity Fair this week, \u201cIt\u2019s like, what the f\u2009-\u2009-\u2009k was I doing working with Woody Allen and Roman Polanski?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s unbelievable to me now how those men were held in such high regard, so widely in the film industry and for as long as they were,\u201d she added. \u201cIt\u2019s f\u2009-\u2009-\u2009king disgraceful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I have to take responsibility for the fact that I worked with them both,\u201d Winslet continued. \u201cI can\u2019t turn back the clock. I\u2019m grapp<\/a>ling with those regrets but what do we have if we aren\u2019t able to just be f\u2009-\u2009-\u2009king truthful about all of it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Winslet starred in Polanski\u2019s 2011 adaptation of Yasmina Reza\u2019s play \u201cGod of Carnage\u201d \u2014 shortened to simply \u201cCarnage\u201d in theaters. She worked with Allen for 2017\u2019s \u201cWonder Wheel,\u201d a Coney Island-set 1950s drama.<\/p>\n

Winslet\u2019s comments were prompted by a question about the #MeToo movement. \u201cLife is f\u2009-\u2009-\u2009king short and I\u2019d like to do my best when it comes to setting a decent example to younger women,\u201d she prefaced the Allen and Polanski comment by saying. \u201cWe\u2019re handing them a pretty f\u2009-\u2009-\u2009ked up world, so I\u2019d like to do my bit in having some proper integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Winslet would also like everyone to know that she\u2019s aware streams of her Steven Soderbergh-directed 2011 thriller \u201cContagion\u201d jumped up during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are they all f\u2009-\u2009-\u2009king doing?\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s a scary film. Stop watching that.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for that door, Winslet addressed the long-debated ending of \u201cTitanic\u201d back in 2017, re-creating how she could have made room for Leonardo DiCaprio\u2019s character, Jack, during an appearance on \u201cThe Late Show With Stephen Colbert.\u201d<\/p>\n
