We do not agree with Skip Bayless\u2019 opinion on Undisputed this morning. We have addressed the significance of this matter with Skip and how his insensitive comments were received by people internally at FOX Sports and our audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Prescott revealed on \u201cIn Depth with Graham Bensinger\u201d he\u2019d struggled with anxiety, depression and sleeplessness during the coronavirus pandemic, issues intensified when his brother Jace committed suicide.<\/p>\n<p><span><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xHpv3ufxNx8?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent\" title=\"Video\" width=\"640\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A day later, Bayless, on his daily argument-based show with co-host Shannon Sharpe, couldn\u2019t help himself when it came to discussing Prescott\u2019s story.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen it comes to the quarterback of a NFL team, you know this as well as I do or better than I do, it\u2019s the ultimate leadership position in sports, am I right about that?,\u201d Bayless said. \u201cYou are commanding an entire NFL franchise, what\u2019s the roster at now, 53 guys? \u2026 And they\u2019re all looking to you to be their CEO, to be in charge of the football team. Because of all that, I don\u2019t have sympathy for him going public with \u2018I got depressed, I suffered depression early in COVID, to the point that I couldn\u2019t even go work out.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, he\u2019s the quarterback of America\u2019s Team, and you know and I know, this sport that you play, it is dog-eat-dog. It is no compassion, no quarter given on the football field. If you reveal publicly any little weakness, it can affect your team\u2019s ability to believe in you in the toughest spots, and it definitely can encourage others on the other side to come after you. You throw an interception, you\u2019re going to hear \u2018You depressed, number four?\u2019 That sort of thing. You get sacked, \u2018How\u2019d that feel?
