\n Joe Biden\u2019s national press secretary refused to answer whether the Democratic candidate uses a teleprompter in televised interviews, insisting instead that the question is a \u201cdistraction\u201d by the Trump campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not going to \u2014 this is straight from the Trump campaign talking points,\u201d TJ Ducklo told \u201cSpecial Report\u201d host Bret Baier.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd what it does, Bret, is it\u2019s trying to distract the American people from \u2026,\u201d Ducklo added before Baier asked him to answer \u201cyes\u201d or \u201cno.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey talk about it every day, Bret, because they don\u2019t have a coherent strategy \u2026 they talk about it every day because they don\u2019t have a coherent argument for why Donald Trump deserves reelection, deserves four more years,\u201d Ducklo continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know that he lied to the American people. We know that he has not shown leadership during this crisis and they are desperate to throw anything they can against the wall to try to distract from that fact,\u201d he said, ultimately refusing to answer the question.<\/p>\n

Footage emerged this week of the former veep app<\/a>earing to ask his staff to adjust a teleprompter during a Q&A session with AFL-CIO members.<\/p>\n

\u201cMove it up here,\u201d Biden said, before pausing and answering a question.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
