Following a couple of posts that teased an Evangelion collaboration, McDonald\u2019s Japan has revealed three upcoming Evangelion figures.<\/span><\/p>\n

These figures are Unit-00, Unit-01, and Unit-02, but not entirely as you know them. Aside from being a little stumpy, these Evangelions are transformable and reflect a specific McDonald\u2019s Japan Value Set item. As such, Unit-00 looks like it\u2019s trying to disguise itself as a drink cup, while Unit-02 has fries sticking out from its shoulders. This leaves Unit-01 as the Big Mac representative.<\/span><\/p>\n

The promotional video below shows them in action, complete with voice-overs from the Evangelion voice actors. Misato Katsuragi\u2019s Kotono Mitsuishi<\/strong> ends the advert by humming the McDonald\u2019s jingle.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All of them have a unique part, such as Unit-00\u2019s shield and Unit-01\u2019s rear-fitted AT-field. Unit-02 gets a french-fry-spear that\u2019s also compatible with the other two.<\/span><\/p>\n

The process for obtaining these Evangelion figures involves a lottery hosted on the McDonald\u2019s Japan mobile app<\/a>, which opened on December 19 at 2 PM JST and will close on January 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM JST. Results will be announced between January 16, 2025 at 11 AM JST to January 19, 2025 at 11:59 PM JST, and the winners will be able to purchase the Evangelion figures at participating outlets between January 20, 2025 JST to January 26, 2025 JST.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
