\n\tFaceoff: Inside the NHL<\/em>, the Prime Video docuseries<\/a> that delves into the personal and professional lives of the NHL\u2019s best players, will return for a six-episode second season in 2025, it was announced Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\tProduced by Box to Box and NHL Productions, it will be available in the fall to more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe inaugural season centered on superstars Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers, Matthew Tkachuk of the Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, William Nylander of the Toronto Maple Leafs and David Pastr\u0148\u00e1k of the Boston Bruins \u2014 and their teammates, coaches and family members.<\/p>\n

\n\tProducers say the second season will spend more time with Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk, Matthew\u2019s younger brother, and their dad, Keith Tkachuk, who played for 18 seasons in the NHL. Players joining Brady for season two will be announced.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason one \u201cdelivered riveting, personal content like never before. With more all-access footage than ever, we\u2019re taking fans deeper into the lives of our players and their families. We can\u2019t wait to do it again,\u201d NHL president of content & events Steve Mayer said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFrom intense drama to moments that will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between, this season will only be better. Millions of viewers worldwide are about to experience the show\u2019s unique style and perspective that showcases the NHL in a way they\u2019ve never seen before.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe series is executive produced by Mayer; James Gay-Rees, Paul Martin and Hillary Olsen for Box to Box; and showrunner Daniel Amigone.<\/p>\n

\n\tFaceoff: Inside the NHL<\/em> joins Prime Monday Night Hockey<\/em>, the exclusive destination for national regular-season Monday night NHL English-language game<\/a>s, and NHL Coast to Coast<\/em>, the live \u201cwhip-around\u201d studio show that airs Thursday nights in Canada.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s the fifth original hockey program that Amazon has produced with NHL Productions for Prime Video.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
