Animation studio Orange <\/strong>has revealed plans that will result in TOHO<\/strong> owning 19.7% of its shares.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The move involves the transfer of Orange\u2019s common stocks and the issuance of new shares by third-party allotment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Orange says that this dealing with Toho was made with aims like further improving its products\u2019 quality, securing talented staff both local and foreign, and expanding the studio in mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this year, TOHO acquired Science<\/a> SARU <\/strong>and North American animation distributor GKIDS<\/strong>, and also secured a 6% stake in CoMix Wave Films<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
