CES 2025 kicks off January 7. The annual Las Vegas event sets the tone for the year\u2019s consumer electronics and automotive industries. As always, TechCrunch will be there, sniffing out stories from the most exciting startups and tech giants.<\/p>\n

If you really want a piece of the action without paying for the hotel and flight, many of the event\u2019s biggest keynotes will be streamed. While the show officially runs from January 7 to 10, most of the big news<\/a> drops in the lead-up to the show, by way of in-person press events. These are largely set for the January 6 \u201cPress Day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Per usual, the events center around some of tech\u2019s biggest names, including AMD, Nvidia, Samsung, Toyota, and Sony. The good news for those who prefer to avoid mingling among the 140,000 international attendees is that all the key press conferences and keynotes will be livestreamed, either through the companies\u2019 press pages or CES itself.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how to tune in to the big ones, and you can head here for our early preview of what else to expect from this year\u2019s CES.<\/p>\n

January 6 at 11 a.m. PT\/2 p.m. ET<\/p>\n

AMD has its work cut out for it at CES 2025.\u00a0Competitor Nvidia has been sucking the oxygen\u00a0out of every room it graces, as the chipmaker remains at the forefront of the AI boom. So, how will AMD compete with Nvidia\u2019s reported RTX 5000 announcement? <\/p>\n

The company should show off its own next-gen GPU. As part of an ongoing rebrand, the RDNA 4 cards\u00a0could arrive<\/a>\u00a0as either the RX 8000 or RX 9000 series<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Toyota has already announced it will provide an update on its Woven City initiative during its CES presentation, an ambitious effort that was first showcased in 2020. You can watch the stream as it\u2019s posted here.<\/p>\n

Samsung\u2019s CES presser is always an odd duck. The Korean electronics giant general<\/a>ly keeps its powder dry when it comes to consumer electronics. After all, it\u2019s expected to announce its latest flagship handset \u2014 the Galaxy S25 \u2014 toward the end of January.<\/p>\n

CES 2025 is going to continue the company\u2019s tradition of TVs and app<\/a>liances. There are also odds and ends like consumer robots that will most likely never see the light of day. Samsung\u00a0has adopted<\/a>\u00a0the tagline \u201cAI for All: Everyday, Everywhere\u201d for the presentation, which kicks off on January 6 at 2 p.m. PT\/5 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

Sony, which is no stranger to big CES press day events, has already showcased two reveals ahead of this year\u2019s event: the\u00a0SRH-S1 extended reality headset<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0additions to the Bravia home theater line<\/a>. Nvidia will no doubt have the biggest CES 2025. After all, the company has pretty much the biggest everything nowadays. The chip giant is sporting a $3.4+ trillion market cap, due largely to its\u00a0foundational position in the ongoing AI boom. Companies like OpenAI and Meta have purchased Nvidia processors by the boatload, and that\u2019s unlikely to change in the new year.<\/p>\n

Founder and CEO Jensen Huang will help kick off CES 2025 \u201cwith his trademark leather jacket and an unwavering vision,\u201d\u00a0per Nvidia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
