This means that you hand over the reins of bid management to Google\u2019s AI, and in return, you gain access to thousands of proprietary signals. <\/p>\n<p>You set your budget, and Google\u2019s algorithms determine the right bid for you in every single auction. <\/p>\n<p>The goal? <\/p>\n<p>To get you the most conversions possible within your spending limit.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-effectively-set-up-maximize-conversions-in-your-campaigns\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_effectively_set_up_Maximize_conversions_in_your_campaigns\"><\/span>How to effectively set up Maximize conversions in your campaigns<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>While Maximize conversions is one of the simplest bid strategies to use, it needs something crucial in place for optimal performance: accurate conversion tracking.<\/p>\n<p>Maximize conversions relies on accurate conversion data in order to work effectively. Google can\u2019t maximize something it can\u2019t see! <\/p>\n<p>Before enabling this strategy, double-check that your conversion tracking is properly configured. If you have low conversion volume, you might want to try testing micro-conversions.<\/p>\n<p>Maximize conversions will work to drive all Primary conversion actions in your account, or all conversion actions that have been set as your campaign-level goals. Review your campaign settings to ensure your bid strategy optimizes for the right thing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-troubleshooting-common-issues-with-maximize-conversions-bidding\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Troubleshooting_common_issues_with_Maximize_conversions_bidding\"><\/span>Troubleshooting common issues with Maximize conversions bidding<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Even with the best setup, you might encounter some hiccups with Maximize conversions.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some common issues you might face with this bid strategy, and how to fix them:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Campaign isn\u2019t serving any impressions. <\/strong>If your campaign isn\u2019t spending its budget, and perhaps isn\u2019t even serving ads at all, try increasing your campaign budget. This gives Google more leeway to increase bids and participate in more auctions. It\u2019s also worth checking your targeting to ensure that your keywords have sufficient search volume and\/or your audiences are eligible to serve.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Campaign is getting clicks but no conversions.<\/strong> A low conversion rate could indicate issues with your landing pages, ad relevance, or ad targeting. Assuming you\u2019ve received a few hundred clicks and still no conversions, check your conversion tracking settings first, then your CTR (low CTR can mean irrelevant targeting and\/or irrelevant ad creative), then your landing page performance from <em>other<\/em> channels, to identify the root cause of the issue.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Performance fluctuates wildly.<\/strong> Your campaign performance can fluctuate due to many factors, such as seasonality, competition, and changes in user behavior. Try checking your auction insights and search impression share, and your campaign change history, to see what anomalies you notice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-comparing-maximize-conversions-to-other-google-ads-bid-strategies\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comparing_Maximize_conversions_to_other_Google_Ads_bid_strategies\"><\/span>Comparing Maximize conversions to other Google Ads bid strategies<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Maximize conversions may be the usual default, but it\u2019s just one of several bidding strategies available in Google Ads. Here\u2019s how it compares to some of the alternatives:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Manual CPC<\/strong>. Manual bidding gives you complete control over your bids. However, you miss out on harnessing the power of Google\u2019s AI for your business. In 2025 and beyond, there are very few use cases left for Manual CPC bidding.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maximize Clicks<\/strong>. Maximize clicks aims to get you as many clicks as possible within your budget. It\u2019s an automated bid strategy, but not a Smart Bidding strategy, meaning it doesn\u2019t have access to the same signals and intelligence at Maximize conversions. Maximize clicks is useful for Standard Shopping campaigns, and for trying to increase click volume on newer campaigns.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maximize conversion value<\/strong>. Maximize conversion value is a Smart Bidding strategy that works similarly to Maximize conversions, but focuses on the value of each conversion, not just whether or not the conversion h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened. If your conversions have different values associated with them \u2013 for example, you sell $10 products and $100 products \u2013 then Maximize conversion value may be a better option for you.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Target CPA<\/strong>. Target CPA is a Smart Bidding strategy that is like Maximize conversions\u2019 big sister. Rather than spending your budget to get as many conversions as possible, it focuses on achieving a specific cost-per-acquisition.
