Dan Abrams is stepping down from one of his many jobs.\u00a0After three years, he has decided to end his NewsNation primetime series<\/a>,\u00a0Dan Abrams Live,<\/em> in February<\/span>. The host announced his departure and the end of his series on Thursday night\u2019s broadcast.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Deadline<\/a>, he said the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the help of\u00a0an amazing production team,\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0incredibly proud of the show we have done day in and day out.\u00a0With their thoughtful and strategic preparation and efforts at fairness, ad fontes media<\/a>,\u00a0which\u00a0rates accuracy and media bias have us dead\u00a0center\u00a0on their\u00a0right-left\u00a0media bias chart.<\/p>\n

But creating this one hour of television takes many hours each day.\u00a0I take every word, every tease, every guest, every on-screen graphic personally. There is no such thing as mailing it in for any of us, including me.<\/p>\n

I will miss it. I know I will,\u00a0but I also need to be practical about what is possible to do every day so\u00a0there really wasn\u2019t any other choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

THR<\/a> revealed that Abrams will remain with NewsNation, having signed a three-year contract just last year.<\/p>\n

He is also an ABC News chief legal analyst, a satellite radio host, a host and producer for On Patrol Live<\/em>, and owner of a digital media empire that includes Mediaite, Law & Crime Network, and other brands.<\/p>\n

A replacement for Dan Abrams Live<\/em> will be announced next year.<\/p>\n
