\n\tThe upcoming Melania Trump documentary that Brett Ratner is directing for Amazon will take viewers behind the scenes at the White House and transition, following the first lady as she hires a staff and moves in to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.<\/p>\n

\n\tTrump discussed the project for the first time in an interview with Fox News Channel\u2019s Fox & Friends<\/em><\/a> Monday morning.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe started the production in November, and we are shooting right now. So it\u2019s a day to day life, what I\u2019m doing, what kind of responsibilities I have. People, they don\u2019t really know and they will see it,\u201d Trump said. \u201cIt\u2019s day to day, from transition team to moving to the White House, packing, establishing my team, the first lady office, moving into the White House, what it takes to make the residence your home, to hire the people that you need.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAmazon confirmed development of the Melania trump doc earlier this month, including Ratner\u2019s involvement. Trump is also an executive producer of the film, which is slated to be released later this year in movie theaters and on Prime Video.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project was described by Amazon as giving \u201cviewers an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at First Lady Melania Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Trump, the idea for the doc began after the release of her memoir last year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe book was such a success, and I\u2019m very proud, and I get so many messages and letters [from readers] how they enjoy the book, and they would love, my fans and people, would love to hear more from me,\u201d Trump said. \u201cSo I had an idea to to make a movie, to make a film about my life. My life is incredible. It\u2019s incredibly busy. And I told my agent, you know, I have this idea. So please, you know, go out and make a deal for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
