“#Disgust as #AllBuildingsMatter trends on Twitter<\/a> on 9\/11 anniversary<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n A slogan dismissing the devastation of 9\/11 in order to promote the Black Lives Matter movement went viral on the 19th anniversary of the terror attacks Friday \u2014 with #AllBuildingsMatter trending in Twitter.<\/p>\n

The phrase was first picked up after Saturday Night Live cast member Michael Che used it in a 2016 Netflix comedy special to highlight anger at people saying \u201call lives matter\u201d in response to the BLM movement.<\/p>\n

Che \u2014 whose brother is an NYPD cop \u2014 questioned why black people have to get over slavery, segregation and police shootings while everyone is told to \u201cnever forget\u201d the 9\/11 terror attacks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why this September I\u2019m getting a T-shirt that says, \u2018All buildings matter.\u2019 We\u2019ll see how that works,\u201d he said in the special, whose title, \u201cMichael Che Matters,\u201d also referenced the BLM movement.<\/p>\n

On Friday morning, the phrase went viral as a hashtag on Twitter \u2014 with only #NeverForget trending higher in the US \u2014 sparking outrage by again comparing the horror of the nearly 3,000 killed on 9\/11 to civil rights protests.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe hashtag #AllBuildingsMatter is trending on Twitter because radical left are SCUM who have no respect for America or the people who sacrifice for her,\u201d raged attorney and Ohio congressional candidate Rob Weber.<\/p>\n

Even protesters ripped the hashtag for being distasteful on the anniversary of the worst attack in American history.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes I support BLM but frickin leave 9\/11 alone,\u201d a Twitter user named August wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody is f\u2013king mourning the buildings. They\u2019re mourning the innocent lives that were taken thanks to greed. This is not the same. This is not the time. Y\u2019all are TRASH,\u201d a black Twitter user named Santelle wrote, calling the hashtag \u201cdisgusting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf any of you self-important childish babies tagging #AllBuildingsMatter even had a clue what happ<\/a>ened this day 19 years ago, had seen it, had experienced it, you\u2019d never open your mouths again,\u201d @PerfectByGrace wrote.<\/p>\n

Others also noted the irony of militant protesters sparking destruction across the country using the hashtag.<\/p>\n

\u201cHilarious part of the #AllBuildingsMatter trend is it is being tweeted by people who are burning buildings daily,\u201d conservative journalist Carmine Sabia said.<\/p>\n

Another user, @BlindeMikeSig, wrote, \u201cJust remember the #AllBuildingsMatter crowd will be looting and burning them down tonight folks.\u201d<\/p>\n

At least one message going viral also brought it back to the SNL comedian.<\/p>\n
