Travis Scott has reportedly spent six figures on what is billed as \u201cthe most impressive pickup truck on the market<\/a>\u201d \u2014 a limited edition $160K custom Hemi Hellcat V8 Horsepower Apocalypse Omega-Rex.<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/a><\/em>reported the purchase, from SoFlo Customs<\/a>, on Tuesday (January 14).<\/p>\n

The \u201cultimate pickup\u201d Travis snagged was reportedly the last of the bunch.<\/p>\n

Travis has other worries besides a potential apocalypse \u2014 namely a lawsuit over his song with Future and SZA, \u201cTelekinesis.\u201d<\/p>\n

Victory Boyd, a\u00a0Roc Nation artist<\/a>, filed suit against Scott, SZA, Future, and the other credited songwriters on the track, as well as watchmakers Audemars Piguet, in federal court in New York last Wednesday (January 8). She claims that \u201cTelekinesis\u201d uses aspects of her song \u201cLike The Way It Sounds\u201d without permission.<\/p>\n

Boyd claims that back in November 2019, she wrote \u201cLike The Way It Sounds,\u201d and then shared it with\u00a0Kanye West. She then says that West, who is not named in the suit, played Boyd\u2019s track for Scott, and that Scott, in turn, shared it with Future and SZA, and \u201cTelekinesis\u201d followed.<\/p>\n

Scott\u2019s song, the suit claims, uses aspects of \u201cLike The Way It Sounds,\u201d saying specifically that the hook of \u201cTelekinesis\u201d contains lyrics that are \u201cdirectly copied\u201d from Boyd\u2019s track.<\/p>\n

Audemars Piguet figures in because, Boyd says, the company used Scott\u2019s song in an ad even after they asked her permission and she said no.<\/p>\n

In Boyd\u2019s favor \u2014 something she points out in the suit \u2014 is that she is as of the date of its filing listed as one of the song\u2019s composers on Spotify<\/a> \u2014 information she says came directly from the people she\u2019s suing. She also claims that she was recently offered an eight percent stake in the song.<\/p>\n

Travis may be beginning 2025 with some legal complications, but he has big plans for later in the year.<\/p>\n

His performance at this year\u2019s Coachella will be one for the history books,\u00a0according to the festival\u2019s chief organizer.<\/p>\n

Paul Tollett, president of the festival\u2019s parent company Goldenvoice, has shared more insight into La Flame\u2019s headlining set, hailing it as Coachella\u2019s \u201cmost significant experience ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to Palm Springs publication\u00a0The Desert Sun<\/a><\/em>, he said of Travis\u2019 upcoming performance: \u201cThat\u2019s going to be pretty interesting. He laid out what he wants to do.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a little too early to give any details, but I think it\u2019s the most significant experience the festival has ever had. Anything that gives you a chance to walk around and see something that\u2019s interesting, that\u2019s what discovery is all about.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Utopia<\/em>\u00a0rapp<\/a>er will headline the Saturday night slots of the two-weekend festival (April 12 and 19), delivering what Tollett described as \u201ca separate immersive experience located near the Sonora Tent.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
