\n\tFrasier Crane will once again be looking for a new home. <\/p>\n

\n\tParamount+ says it won\u2019t go ahead with a third season of Frasier<\/em>, its revival of the Must See TV-era NBC comedy starring Kelsey Grammer. The news<\/a> comes two months after the show\u2019s second season concluded.<\/p>\n

\n\tCBS Studios, which produces the show, says it will look to find a new home for Frasier, which follows Dr. Frasier Crane (Grammer) as he returns to Boston and takes a teaching post at Harvard in order to forge a better relationship with his now-adult son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott). Nicholas Lyndhurst, Toks Olagundoye, Jess Salguiero and Anders Keith also star; Frasier<\/em> alumni Peri Gilpin, Bebe Neuwirth, Harriet Sansom Harris, Dan Butler and Edward Hibbert have made guest app<\/a>earances. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe first rumblings of a Frasier<\/em> revival came in early 2021; Paramount+ gave it a series<\/a> order in October 2022, and it premiered a year later. As is usually the case with streaming platforms, Paramount+ didn\u2019t publicly disclose viewing figures for Frasier<\/em>. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe first season for every show is about finding the characters and realizing, \u2018Oh, we thought this character was here, but it\u2019s actually over there.\u2019 Or, \u2018we thought that these two had a sniping relationship, but it\u2019s one of mutual respect,’\u201d co-showrunner Chris Harris told The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> as season two wrapped. \u201cOur show was not one of the few shows that came out of the gate knowing exactly what every character was, like the original\u00a0Frasier<\/em>. But for the most part, that first season, we feel good about having found where the center of the show is. And here we got to dive in more.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJoe Cristalli is co-showrunner alongside Harris; they executive produce with Grammer (via his Grammnet NH Productions), Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe two seasons of the Frasier<\/em> revival, as well as the original series, will remain on Paramount+.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
