\n\tBill Burr and Shane Gillis are joining forces for a benefit comedy show that will support relief efforts for those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe comedia<\/a>ns shared the news<\/a> via their Instagram<\/a> accounts on Tuesday. Produced by Live Nation, the event will take place on Monday, Jan. 27 at the Wiltern Theater. Tickets went on sale via Live Nation\u2019s website<\/a> on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAll proceeds from the benefit will go to the Wildfire Relief Program<\/a>, a GoFundMe organization that is \u201ccurrently supporting relief and recovery efforts related to the wildfires burning in L.A. County.\u201d The program set a goal to raise $8 million for those affected by the blazes and reached a total of a little over $5 million on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tBurr spoke about the devastating wildfires during an app<\/a>earance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a> last Tuesday where he critiqued the internet\u2019s reaction to the natural disaster.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI feel lucky, and I think everybody did a great job, unlike the internet,\u201d he quipped. \u201cAll of these fire experts, \u2018Why don\u2019t you just fly a helicopter into the ocean,\u2019 I don\u2019t know, cause there was 100 knot winds. You wanna do that?\u201d Burr, too, argued that CNN and Fox News haven\u2019t brought \u201cup the insurance companies\u201d who recently did not renew home insurance policies<\/a> ahead of the fires.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement of Burr and Gillis\u2019 comedy show comes after several other benefit events have been organized, including the FireAid concert where a slew of stars will perform in support of wildfire victims at the Intuit Dome and The Forum. Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, Tate McRae, Dave Matthews and John Mayer will all perform at the concert, in addition to recently announced performers Olivia Rodrigo and No Doubt, where Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young will all reunite.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
