Madlib has expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support from the public following the destruction of his house, record collection and music equipment during the L.A. wildfires.<\/p>\n
Back on January 13, the producer and his manager Stacy Epps shared a link to an\u00a0online fundraiser<\/a>\u00a0to \u201cHelp Madlib and His Family Rebuild After Tragic Loss.\u201d<\/p>\n AD LOADING…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWe are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support in helping legendary producer Madlib and his family rebuild after losing their home, decades of music, and equipment in the devastating LA fires,\u201d they both posted on Instagram.<\/p>\n A week later, on Tuesday (January 21), Madlib\u2019s official Instagram account posted an update.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the support, love, encouragement and kind words you have shared during our fundraiser!!\u201d it began.<\/p>\n \u201cIt truly has helped Madlib get through one of the most challenging periods in his life, to know that so many care and app<\/a>reciate his contributions and legacy. The fundraiser is still open if you\u2019d like to support and\/or share.\u201d<\/p>\n The message also mentioned \u201can important tribute and charity project coming soon,\u201d and tagged the IG account @madlovela<\/a>.
