And recently, Bieber shared a snippet of something he\u2019s been working on during a drive. After transitioning into a more grown up sound on 2015\u2019s <i>Purpose<\/i> (boosted by production from Skrillex and Diplo), his 2020 record <i>Changes<\/i> was probably most memorable for his uncomfortable attempt at a slow jam, \u201cYummy\u201d (sample lyric: \u201cI&#8217;m elated that you are my lady\u201d). Bieber\u2019s last studio album,<i>Justice<\/i>,which included both \u201cPeaches\u201d and \u201cGhost,\u201d was received well by critics and seemed to show that Bieber had found a lane that suited him. But since then it\u2019s been quiet on the music front. A world tour in support of the album was cancelled twice, first in 2022 and again in 2023. And the disclosure of his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and his split from Scooter Braun, his longtime manager, seemed to signal turmoil behind the scenes. Any momentum built up by <i>Justice<\/i> has since flattened, and it\u2019s raised the question of just what kind of artist Bieber wants to be.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-267074\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n             Recently, however, things have been looking up. Last year, he and Hailey Bieber welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber. With Bieber now a father and no longer tied to Braun, it feels like a good time to be redefining himself musically and building on his strange stardom, both ubiquitous and yet unknowable. After all, there\u2019s expectation or precedent behind him right now. So, if he\u2019s open to it, we had a few ideas on what we\u2019d like to see from a Justin Bieber comeback in 2025 (and no, lightskin Bieber is not on the list).\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-267075\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<h5 class=\"headline\" style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_More_interesting_collabs\"><\/span>\n        <b>1. More interesting collabs<\/b><br \/>\n      <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            Speaking in a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/09\/04\/arts\/music\/mkgee-two-star-the-dream-police.html\"><i>NYT<\/i> profile<\/a> last year, Mk.gee revealed he is working with Bieber on new material. \u201cAnything that comes out of his mouth: That\u2019s pop music,\u201d Mk.gee said. \u201cYou can really do pretty wild stuff behind that, just because it represents something.\u201d He has also been photographed with Eddie Benjamin, a producer and songwriter with whom he has worked before.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Working with someone as exciting and (relatively) underground as Mk.gee feels like a notable seachange for Bieber, whose previous albums are filled with fellow Scooter Braun clients or r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ers used as shortcuts to credibility.
