Milan Records has announced that <\/span>Kenshi Yonezu<\/b>\u2019s newest song \u201cBOW AND ARROW,\u201d which is the <\/span>main opening theme<\/a><\/span> for the <\/span>Medalist<\/span><\/i> TV <\/span><\/i>anime<\/a> series<\/a>, is <\/span>now available<\/span><\/a> on multiple music streaming platforms.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Talking about the new single, Yonezu says:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been an avid fan of the original manga. When I saw that the manga was going to be made into an anime, I couldn\u2019t resist reaching out to offer my music. That\u2019s how it led to the creation of \u201cBOW AND ARROW\u201d. It\u2019s a great manga, I urge every human being to read this manga series. I\u2019m also anticipating the anime as just a viewer. Wait there for the song as well.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Medalist<\/span><\/i> first premiered in Japan on January 5, 2024 and is expected to run for 13 episodes. Disney+ is <\/span>streaming the series worldwide<\/span>, outside of Japan, while Hulu is streaming it exclusively in the U.S., which includes an English dub.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yasutaka Yamamoto <\/b>(<\/span>The Tale of the Outcasts, Nekopara<\/span><\/i>) is directing the anime series, with <\/span>Jukki Hanada<\/b> (<\/span>The Dangers in My Heart)<\/span><\/i> as series screenwriter and<\/span> Chinatsu Kameyama<\/b> (<\/span>In Another World With My Smartphone 2<\/span><\/i>) as character designer and co-chief animation director, and <\/span>Yuki Hayashi <\/b>(<\/span>My Hero Academia<\/span><\/i>) as music composer. <\/span>ENGI<\/b> is in charge of the animation production.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Former Olympic skater <\/span>Akiko Suzuki<\/b> is choreographing the skating routines in the anime, in collaboration with retired figure skater <\/span>Yuhana Yokoi<\/b> and active competitive figure skater <\/span>Hinano Isobe<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
