YFN Lucci is officially free after serving four years behind bars in a racketeering case.<\/p>\n

Lucci was released from prison on Friday (January 31), and welcomed by his children, family members and friends in a heartwarming video posted to his Instagram Story shortly afterward.<\/p>\n

The Atlanta rapp<\/a>er was officially sentenced in January 2024 after pleading guilty to one count of violating Georgia\u2019s Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act, though he had been behind bars since January 2021 on the case.<\/p>\n

He received a sentence of 10 years in prison followed by 10 years on probation, but as part of a plea deal, he was able to get out even earlier.<\/p>\n

In a statement to 11Alive<\/a><\/em>, Lucci said: \u201cI\u2019ve learned a lot during my time away. I\u2019m incredibly grateful for my family and friends\u2014who have stood by me the whole time. Now, it\u2019s my turn to give back. I want to use my voice, my platform, and my music to inspire those who look up to me. I want to show people it\u2019s never too late to make a change. For me, this time is about growth, redemption, and purpose. I\u2019m excited\u2014there\u2019s so much more to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

His attorneys added: \u201cRayshawn Bennett, widely known as YFN Lucci, was granted early release on parole and walked out of prison this morning to dozens of waiting friends and family. He is overjoyed to reunite with his children, his family, and his music. He will waste no time releasing new music and getting back on stage to perform for his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n
