A new visual and special website have been revealed for the ETOTAMA<\/em> original anime<\/a> series<\/a>, celebrating the show\u2019s upcoming 10th anniversary since its premiere in April 2015. The website also teases that more new announcements will be made soon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>ETOTAMA<\/span><\/i> TV anime series aired for 12 episodes from April 9, 2015 to June 25, 2015. It was directed by <\/span>Fumitoshi Oizaki <\/b>(<\/span>Akuma-kun, A Centaur\u2019s Life<\/span><\/i>), with <\/span>Deko Akao<\/b> (<\/span>Higehiro<\/span><\/i>) as series screenwriter and script<\/a>writer, <\/span>Akio Watanabe<\/b> (<\/span>The World God Only Knows<\/span><\/i>) and <\/span>QP:flapper<\/b> (<\/span>Girlish Number<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Idoly Pride<\/span><\/i>) as original character designers, and <\/span>Azusa Kikuchi<\/b> as music composer. <\/span>Shirogumi<\/b> and <\/span>Encourage Films<\/b> handled the animation production for the series.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A special 30-minute OVA titled <\/span>ETOTAMA Nyan-kyaku Banrai <\/span><\/i>was also produced and released in May 2021. A manga series was also released prior to the TV anime\u2019s broadcast between January 2014 to January 2016.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since ancient times, Japan has upheld the tradition of the 12 Zodiac signs. Eto-musumes (Zodiac girls), who have the appearance and behavior of the animals of the Zodiac, are pure hearted messengers who act as a bridge between humans and the gods. Every 60 years, the \u201cETM 12\u201d tournament takes place in Tokyo\u2019s Akihabara district, where aspiring girls from all over Japan gather for the chance to become the next zodiac sign. One of those girls is Nya-tan, a cat girl who was tricked by a sneaky rodent and was not able to become a Zodiac girl. There is only one condition to become an Eto-musume: you must defeat the other 12 signs. But with strength bestowed to them from the heavens above, no one has been able to defeat them for 2000 years.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
