Famous for internet-breaking stunts, like <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/a\/zach-frydenlund\/battle-rapper-daylyt-attempted-to-poop-on-stage-after-getting-booed-at-a-show-this-weekend\">pretending to take a shit during a battle<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IOsc9IDNO3M\">making homoerotic remarks about Diddy<\/a>, and getting an elaborate face tattoo, Daylyt is a far more skilled lyricist than these stunts would suggest. Problem is a globally recognized and respected staple of Compton rap. He released his debut album, <i>Deal or No Deal<\/i>, in 2006, but his appearance on E-40&#8217;s 2012 single &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DsDyZNIkO6Q\">Function<\/a>&#8221; jump-started his solo career. His entrance to the rap industry came with Dubb Union (originally called Western Union), a West Coast rap group with fellow local stars Damani and Soopafly that was <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dubcnn.com\/interviews\/westurnunion\/\">originally conceived<\/a> as a Snoop Dogg-helmed project; their debut album, <i>Snoop Dogg presents&#8230; Dubb Union<\/i>, was released in 2008. A rapper who&#8217;s focused on delivering a classically lyrical listening experience, Mykestro released the projects <i>Emotion On My Sleeve<\/i> and <i>Adversity Vs. Ambience<\/i> in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Since then Mykestro has stayed staunchly independent, releasing <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/skillzstillappeal.bandcamp.com\/\">many of his tapes through Bandcamp<\/a>. His sophomore mixtape <i>White Lightnin&#8217;<\/i> was a local hit and featured several collaborations with The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a> (who briefly signed Malone to his label, Black Wall Street Records). 2011 brought a signing with Cash Money Records, which released his debut studio album <i>Beach Cruiser<\/i> and its hit, the Akon-featuring &#8220;Certified.&#8221; Out of all the rappers Lamar shouted out, Glasses Malone will likely be the most divisive for his exasperating tendency to provoke, something that overshadows his talents.
