Kendrick Lamar is set to sit down for a rare interview ahead of his performance at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.<\/p>\n
On Thursday (February 6), K.Dot will join Ebro Darden and Nadeska Alexis for the App<\/a>le Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show press conference beginning at 10 AM CT on Apple Music.<\/p>\n AD LOADING…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Then on Sunday (February 9), Kendrick will hit the stage for the big show at New Orleans\u2019 Caesars Superdome while the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n Ab-Soul recently teased that something big is going down during the show, but didn\u2019t specify what.<\/p>\n In a cryptic post on X last week, the TDE rapper wrote: \u201cLISTEN\u2026 I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN A FT FROM FREE,\u201d referencing Kendrick Lamar\u2019s longtime manager Dave Free.<\/p>\n \u201cSMFH. I JUST SHED A TEAR. DEAD HOMIES. SUPER BOWL LIX. HISTORY!!! @pgLang x @TopDawgEnt.\u201d<\/p>\n Many fans interpreted the post as a hint that Ab-Soul \u2014 and possibly also his Black Hippy brethren\u00a0ScHoolboy Q\u00a0and\u00a0Jay Rock \u2014 would be making an appearance during Kendrick\u2019s highly-anticipated performance.<\/p>\n SZA has so far been confirmed to join Kendrick on stage, and while there were rumors swirling of Tyler, The Creator also possibly joining, he\u2019s since set the record straight.<\/p>\n Responding to the chatter in an Instagram comment on Friday (January 31), Tyler wrote: \u201cn-gga im on tour i will not be at [a] football game<\/a> yall better watch kenny.\u201d<\/p>\n He was referencing his Chromakopia World Tour, which begins on Tuesday (February 4) in St. Paul, MN and will keep him on the road until September.<\/p>\n Tyler has a day off when Super Bowl LIX takes place, but the big game is sandwiched in between performances in Kansas City, MO on February 8 and Denver, CO on February 11.<\/p>\n Kendrick himself has yet to comment on the Super Bowl and has remained largely silent since last year, despite his rap beef victory over Drake, the record-breaking success of \u201cNot Like Us,\u201d the release of his chart-topping album GNX<\/em>, and his historic 2025 Grammy Awards wins \u2013 creating all the more anticipation for his sit down with Apple Music.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
