Kanye West\u2018s plan to overshadow the 2025 Grammy Awards worked to perfection, it seems.<\/p>\n

The Chicago rap legend was nominated for one award \u2014 Best Rap Song for \u201cCarnival\u201d \u2014 but it was his red carpet antics that stole the headlines as his wife Bianca Censori wore a see-through outfit that exposed her naked body to the world.<\/p>\n

In a series<\/a> of since-deleted Instagram posts on Tuesday (February 4), Ye boasted that he and his bride of three years had \u201cbeat the Grammies [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n

He backed up this bold claim by sharing stats showing Google searches for \u201cBianca censori grammys\u201d far outnumbering searches for \u201cGrammy winners 2025,\u201d as well as other trending terms such as \u201ckendrick lamar grammys\u201d and \u201cbeyonce grammys.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor clarity. February 4th 2025. My wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth,\u201d he bragged in a follow-up post.<\/p>\n

Kanye\u2019s controversial Grammys app<\/a>earance also caused a stir thanks to rumors that he and Censori were kicked out of the ceremony due to her provocative wardrobe choice.<\/p>\n

The speculation turned out to be untrue, with a source close to the Grammys telling Variety<\/a><\/em> that the rapper and fashion designer simply \u201cwalked the carpet, got in his car and left\u201d with his wife.<\/p>\n

However, that did not stop him from accusing Don Lemon \u2014 who had discussed the rumors in a video posted online \u2014 of starting the false story.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out of the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always KOONS like this,\u201d he wrote in an Instagram post after the awards.<\/p>\n

The former CNN<\/em> host did not take the shot lying down, hitting back: \u201cKanye\u2026 Yee\u2026 Ye \u2014 whatever your name is. I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it. I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo first of all, get your shit straight. And you, of all people, calling me a coon [laughs]. Negro, that Make America Great Again hat must be too tight on your head.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kanye West may have won the Google search contest, he did not take away from a historic night for several of his peers.<\/p>\n

Kendrick Lamar\u2018s \u201cNot Like Us\u201d won all five awards it was nominated for, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year, while Beyonc\u00e9 finally won Album of the Year for the first time in her career.<\/p>\n

Doechii also put her stamp on things, taking home Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal<\/em> and delivering one of the night\u2019s most electrifying performances.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
