\n Madonna\u2019s COVID diaries took a detour on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The \u201cVogue\u201d singer, 62, posted a more than hourlong Instagram Live video of herself working with \u201cJuno\u201d screenwriter Diablo Cody on her biopic. Several times during the video, Cody can be seen surreptitiously giving Jim Halpert-esque looks to the camera a la \u201cThe Office.\u201d<\/p>\n

The meandering video opens with the pair discussing a scene where Madonna\u2019s sister Paula Ciccone confronts the singer in London while she was filming director Alan Parker\u2019s screen adaptation of the musical \u201cEvita.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was totally and utterly intimidated by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice and the story of Eva Per\u00f3n, the real historical story, and living up to all the great singers and actresses who had played her before me,\u201d the \u201cLike a Virgin\u201d chanteuse remembered. \u201cI think I had a few nervous breakdowns worrying that I was going to be fired every day, basically.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then revealed that Webber wasn\u2019t particularly kind to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was not nice to me,\u201d she claimed. \u201cI\u2019m not sure he even wanted me in the movie. Thank God, Alan Parker did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rick Miramontez, a spokesman for Lloyd Webber wrote in a statement: \u201cShe must have Andrew confused with somebody else.\u00a0 Andrew and Madonna had a very smooth and productive working relationship on the \u2018Evita\u2019 film.\u201d<\/p>\n

One person involved with the musical \u2014 Patti LuPone, who originated the role on Broadway \u2014 thinks Madonna was terrible in the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought it was a piece of s\u2009-\u2009-\u2009t,\u201d she told \u201cWatch What Happ<\/a>ens Live\u201d host Andy Cohen in 2017. \u201cMadonna is a movie killer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Madonna, a mother of six, shared some details of the upcoming film with fans describing it as \u201cmy struggle as an artist \u2026 Trying to survive in a man\u2019s world as a woman. And really just the journey, which has been happy, sad, mad, crazy, good, bad and ugly.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
