\n\tFor Leo Woodall, playing an onscreen heartthrob has its ups and downs.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor, who caught audiences\u2019 attention for his roles in The White Lotus<\/em> and One Day<\/em>, recently shared with the U.K. magazine\u00a0RadioTimes<\/em><\/a> if he ever feels \u201cobjectified\u201d playing the leading man.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYeah, it\u2019s a mixed bag. In some ways it\u2019s part of the gig,\u201d he responded. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut also, there are sides of it that can make you feel quite vulnerable and exposed,\u201d Woodall continued. \u201cThat side isn\u2019t as fun. When you\u2019re playing a role described like that, you can\u2019t help but look at yourself and go, \u2018Am I that guy?\u2019 There\u2019s sometimes pressure in making people buy that!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn season two of The White Lotus<\/em>, he plays bad boy Jack, and in One Day<\/em>, he plays lovable playboy Dexter. Now, he stars as Ren\u00e9e Zellweger\u2019s much younger love interest, Roxster McDuff, in the\u00a0new Bridget Jones<\/em>\u00a0sequel\u00a0Mad About the Boy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere during the interview, Woodall also shared his thoughts on the recent trend in films and TV shows highlighting age-gap romantic relationships, such as in\u00a0Babygirl<\/em>, May-December\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0The Idea of You<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a dynamic that has always existed in the real world. And for reasons I\u2019m not sure of, it\u2019s now being portrayed on screen. That\u2019s important, because that\u2019s what filmmaking is best at: portraying all walks of life,\u201d the Prime Target<\/em> actor explained. \u201cBut this particular Bridget<\/em> isn\u2019t about that. A lot of it is her grieving and her motherhood. And thankfully my character comes in and puts a smile on her face.\u201d<\/p>\n
