\n\tNetflix has renewed XO, Kitty<\/em> for a season three, the streamer announced Friday. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe romantic dramedy, a spinoff of Netflix\u2019s To All the Boys<\/em> trilogy, follows the youngest Song Covey sister, Kitty, portrayed by Anna Cathcart, as she navigates her teenage years full of love and friendship while attending Korean Independent School of Seoul, often called KISS. <\/p>\n

\n\tNetflix announced the renewal in a Valentine\u2019s Day-app<\/a>ropriate Instagram post captioned, \u201cRoses are red. Violets are blue. There\u2019s a third season of XO, Kitty<\/em> in store for you!\u201d Season two of the series<\/a> premiered Jan. 16 and debuted at No. 2 on the streamer\u2019s English TV list with 14.2 million views for the week of its debut.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m so excited to head back to Seoul for another season with our incredible cast and crew. If you thought junior year at KISS brought the drama\u2026just wait,\u201d showrunner Jessica O\u2019Toole said in a statement. \u201cI know we left fans on a cliffhanger at the end of season two, but I can promise season three will be worth the wait, including our first summer episode \u2014 not to mention plenty of romance, friendship, adventure \u2026 and kissing. Lots of kissing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason two of XO, Kitty<\/em> ended the titular character seemingly offering to go off on tour with her crush Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) and his family. The synopsis for the season says in part: \u201c[Kitty]\u2019s single for the first time in a long time, and ready for a fresh start: no more meddling, no more drama. Maybe just some casual dating. Emphasis on casual. But she has more to worry about than her love life, as a letter from her mother\u2019s past sets her on a wild journey, and new faces at KISS bring change. As secrets unravel and bonds are tested, Kitty will learn that life, family and love are more complicated than she ever imagined.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTo All the Boys <\/em>author Jenny Han created the series. O\u2019Toole acts as showrunner and writer of XO, Kitty<\/em>. They executive produce the show, which comes from Awesomeness Studios, along with Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
