Sexyy Red was once offered a full-time role as a wrestler in WWE, but she was forced to turn it down because of her busy schedule as a music artist.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with Dazed Digital<\/em><\/a> published on Tuesday (February 12), Sexyy touched on her 2024 WWE cameo alongside the legendary Shawn Michaels, and revealed she \u201cactually got offered a permanent role as a wrestler in WWE, but couldn\u2019t find the time to train properly so settled for a cameo instead.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRapp<\/a>ing and wrestling are pretty much the same,\u201d she added. \u201cIt\u2019s not quite acting, but it\u2019s kind of acting too, right? Because when we go home and take off all our jewels and gold and remove the costumes we wear, we then have to go right back to reality with our families.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the music side of things, Sexyy Red recently collaborated with Bruno Mars on a new song called \u201cFat Juicy & Wet.\u201d<\/p>\n

The track was first teased just days before it was released, when Bruno shared on Instagram that he was \u201cheaded to the studio right now to make a strip<\/a> club anthem.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone please help me get in touch with Sexyy Red!!\u201d he pleaded.<\/p>\n

Sexyy was immedia<\/a>tely on board and quickly hopped into the comments with, \u201cHeyyyyyy Bruno! @BrunoMars,\u201d then headed to X to tag him there as well.<\/p>\n

She also added, \u201cI heard Bruno say he lookin for ah real bthc baby I\u2019m right hur @BrunoMars.\u201d<\/p>\n

The song was released just three days later. It was almost immediately trashed by Joe Budden, who compared the singer\u2019s change in style to tactics employed by Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his self-titled podcast, Budden offered up a scathing review of\u00a0the raunchy, strip club-ready track.<\/p>\n

\u201cWill it work? Yes. They\u2019re gonna pay for this to work,\u201d he began, referring to Bruno and Sexyy\u2019s respective labels. \u201cThe video says that, the feature says that, the [Lady Gaga] cameo [in the video] says that, [gamma. boss] Larry Jackson and all of his relationships say that. This song is going to work.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow,\u00a0where<\/em>\u00a0it will work is a whole different thing. I don\u2019t know if Gary, Indiana is playing this in the strip clubs out there. I also don\u2019t think it was made for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former\u00a0Slaughterhouse\u00a0rapper then laid out his issues with the sexually-charged song: \u201cI\u2019m not trying to bring race into everything. However, as I age, race does have a lot to do with shit. This song is formulaic and I have a problem with the formula used to attract Black listeners versus the formula used to attract a white audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cSexyy Red, when it\u2019s time to sell a mixtape or get shit poppin\u2019 in the hood at ground level where you need it to be, it\u2019s a whole bunch of,\u00a0Pull my tampon out, fuck me in the ass raw<\/em>. It\u2019s the raunchiest, nastiest shit that works because we like that shit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Budden continued by comparing Bruno Mars to Trump: \u201cBruno Mars said,\u00a0\u2018Pussy so good, make me wanna gangbang and throw up a set.\u2019<\/em>\u00a0I\u2019m sick of \u2014 my same point last week with Donald Trump using his mugshot to relate to Black people, this is the same thing to me!<\/p>\n

\u201cI want there to be a day where white people, or Bruno Mars and his people, don\u2019t feel like in order to attact us, they need to start talking about gangbanging.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
