Travis Scott is being sued by a man who claims he was assaulted by a member of the rapp<\/a>er\u2019s security team.<\/p>\n According to legal documents obtained by TMZ<\/em><\/a>, a man named Omar Muhanna alleges that he was outside a concert venue while Scott performed and that a security guard employed by the rapper was violent with him.<\/p>\n AD LOADING…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Muhanna claims the incident took place on August 17, 2024, in Manhattan and that he was left with permanent injuries.<\/p>\n On the date in question, Scott was appearing at Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center, although Muhanna claims the assault took place several blocks away.<\/p>\n Scott\u2019s representative says that he was not present during the alleged assault and has blasted the lawsuit as \u201cfrivolous\u201d as it does not even accuse the rapper of any wrongdoing other than hire the security company who employed the guard allegedly responsible for the attack.<\/p>\n Muhanna is seeking damages from Travis Scott.<\/p>\n La Flame recently had his own issues with security when he sat courtside at the Intuit Dome to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Los Angeles Clippers.<\/p>\n Footage of the incident showed Scott attempting to walk down the side of the court to the exit the venue at the end of the game<\/a>, but he was momentarily stopped by a guard who ended up trying to pull his arm as the rapper yanked it free.<\/p>\n It was reported that the guard was a third-party employee hired by the Clippers to work the game. Apparently, the man didn\u2019t see a floor credential on the rapper and didn\u2019t recognize him, so he hastily took action.<\/p>\n Reps for the NBA team later reached out to Scott to apologize, while the guard was reassigned to a different location for future games.<\/p>\n Travis also ran afoul of the law last year after he was arrested for disorderly intoxication and trespassing while in Miami.<\/p>\n The charges were eventually dropped after Scott\u2019s legal team successfully argued that there were no clear \u201cno trespassing\u201d signs at the marina.<\/p>\n Footage of the arrest was also made public, showing Scott getting into a tense exchange with officers before he was handcuffed and led away.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
