Young Thug has scored a legal victory as a judge ruled that the state of Georgia must return the jewelry seized during his May 2022 arrest as part of the YSL racketeering case.<\/p>\n
According to a report from The Jasmine Brand<\/em><\/a> on Wednesday (February 26),\u00a0 items set to return to Thug\u2019s possession include a Rolex Datejust with \u201cKing Slime\u201d engraved, a diamond cross pendant, a necklace with green jewels, a diamond tennis necklace and two diamond stud earrings. The pieces will be returned not to Thug, but instead to jeweler Rafaello & Company.<\/p>\n AD LOADING…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The news<\/a> comes just after a hearing in the matter was cancelled, as Thug and his legal team have been trying for some time to retrieve $149,426 in cash, in addition to jewelry, guns and a number of cars.<\/p>\n There is no further update on the money, guns or cars, however \u2013 the last of which includes a 2021 Dodge Durango, a 2022 Porsche 911, a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLS Maybach, a 2015 Can-Am Spyder and a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette.<\/p>\n In other Young Thug news, he has officially announced his first live show since his release from jail.<\/p>\n Thugger was confirmed to be headlining Les Ardentes festival in Belgium on July 5 and it will be the first time fans will be able to see him perform live since his arrest in 2022.<\/p>\n Thug has yet to comment on the announcement and still has no U.S. shows lined up even though his plea deal conditions require him to put on 4 charity gigs per year.<\/p>\n One of the reasons Thug may have been quiet since his release from jail is the fact he is locked in a lawsuit with music giant AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group).<\/p>\n AEG argue that Thugger signed a deal with them in 2017 which saw him receive a $5.25 million loan. After failing to pay the money back, they claim he relinquished the copyright to his publishing to the company.<\/p>\n As part of Thug\u2019s default on the loan, AEG also argue that they received the rights to promote the YSL leader\u2019s live shows.<\/p>\n AEG previously sued Young Thug in 2022 for almost $6 million for breach of contract.<\/p>\n The company claimed even with the rights to Thug\u2019s concerts, he continued booking shows on the side for hundreds of thousands of dollars in performance fees.<\/p>\n Young Thug has yet to respond to the lawsuit and it is not known how it will affect the festival app<\/a>earance in Belgium and other live dates going forward.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\nAD<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
