Tory Lanez app<\/a>ears to have issued a response to PARTYNEXTDOOR\u2018s diss song and subsequent apology to him.<\/p>\n

After previewing an unreleased track aimed at Lanez on Instagram Live earlier this week, the OVO singer quickly U-turned and apologized to his fellow Canadian.<\/p>\n

Now, Tory has taken to social media<\/a> to seemingly comment on the surprising turn of events.<\/p>\n

\u201cLol\u2026 why wake me up?\u201d he simply wrote on his Instagram Stories on Thursday (February 27).<\/p>\n

PARTYNEXTDOOR\u2019s aforementioned diss song, which has yet to be officially released, found him accusing Tory Lanez of running his mouth and biting his style.<\/p>\n

\u201cFuck what Tory Lanez say, you know the B, I\u2019m running that \/ I did everything he did, oh he\u2019s just a running man [\u2026] You said I sound like Young Thug, you know you sound like me [\u2026] One day, you\u2019ll be me,\u201d<\/em> he rapped.<\/p>\n

PND also said during the broadcast while introducing the track: \u201cI\u2019m not y\u2019all n-ggas\u2019 friend. Fuck you talking \u2019bout, bro? Stop saying my name, n-gga.\u201d<\/p>\n

Less than a day later, the \u201cLoyal\u201d hitmaker took to social media to apologize to Tory, who he has previously collaborated with and with whom he shares a mutual friend in Drake.<\/p>\n

\u201c@torylanez I was told about what you said without hearing your video for myself. You didn\u2019t say anything that I wouldn\u2019t say myself, now that I seen it I was wrong. City is stronger together,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

The video PARTY was referring to was a leaked prison phone call<\/a> in which Tory Lanez namedropped him while teasing new music from behind bars.<\/p>\n

\u201cPARTYNEXTDOOR showed his best work of 2025, Drake showed his best work of 2025,\u00a0The Weeknd showed his best work of 2025,\u201d he said in the clip, referencing $ome $exy $ongs 4 U<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Hurry Up Tomorrow<\/em>. \u201cNow it\u2019s time for me to come out.\u201d<\/p>\n

PND does have a history of jumping the gun and beefing with his contemporaries, only to regret it shortly afterwards.<\/p>\n

Last summer,\u00a0the singer let his Twitter fingers fly by calling out his ex-girlfriend,\u00a0as well as\u00a0Chris Brown,\u00a0Jeremih\u00a0and\u00a0Bryson Tiller,\u00a0because she\u2019d appeared in their music video for \u201cWait On It.\u201d<\/p>\n

In since-deleted social media posts, PARTY wrote: \u201cI\u2019m finna make these n-ggas cry\u2026 Bryson, Chris, Jeremih\u2026 enjoy the nights of your life.\u201d<\/p>\n
