\n RiRi\u2019s back!<\/p>\n

After temporarily closing her businesses on Blackout Tuesday last week as a response to the protests surrounding George Floyd\u2019s death, Rihanna\u2019s luxury label Fenty dropped its newest collection Thursday \u2014 the first of three highly anticipated releases slated to happ<\/a>en from now through mid-July.<\/p>\n

Named \u201c6-20\u201d (a reference to the month and year each new collection drops), the latest offerings are \u201cinspired by decades of youth aesthetics and styles that emerged during periods of steep social<\/a> change,\u201d according to the LVMH-owned label\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

One of the hero items is Rihanna\u2019s rereleased \u201cImmigrant\u201d print T-shirt, which the singer initially designed last year amidst the crisis at the Mexican border and President Trump\u2019s immigration policy.<\/p>\n

This season\u2019s $230 long-sleeved version, which reads \u201cBeyond Limits\u201d on the front in addition to the powerful printed \u201cImmigrant\u201d on the back, was created to highlight Fenty\u2019s commitment to \u201cfreedom, diversity, unity and solidarity,\u201d per a press release.<\/p>\n

According to the brand, each of Fenty\u2019s three June drops \u201ccelebrates a different facet of youth culture, from the multi-hyphenate, multitasking work ethic to the new digital rave culture.\u201d<\/p>\n

In this drop, the singer offers draped satin shirtdresses, baggy denim pants and the already sold out \u201cSuper Mini\u201d denim shorts, all of which complement some of the bolder pieces like tie-dye pencil skirts, psychedelic-print baby tees, and oversize hoodies.<\/p>\n

The collection also draws inspiration from the \u201cupfront, straight-talking culture of youth,\u201d which echoes Rihanna\u2019s \u2014 and Fenty\u2019s \u2014 strong stance on current events.<\/p>\n

\u201cFenty as a brand was created to elevate beauty, power and freedom! At this very moment racists are attempting to rip those values away from black people and we will not stand by and let that happen. We are too powerful, creative and resilient,\u201d the singer wrote in a post on the Fenty Instagram account on Blackout Tuesday, adding that the brand would be donating to Color of Change and Movement for Black Lives.<\/p>\n
