The Alchemist took Hip Hop fans down memory lane \u2014 and got them wondering about what might have been \u2014 with a new social media<\/a> post where he mentioned DMX, Method Man and Redman.<\/p>\n On Monday (March 3), the producer shared a photo of what he called \u201can old list of beats I was sending to rapp<\/a>ers,\u201d which he said dated from the early 2000s.<\/p>\n AD LOADING…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Among the artists on the page were DMX, \u201cStyles\u201d [presumably Styles P of The LOX], \u201cTef\u201d [probably M.O.P. affiliate Teflon] and the duo of Meth & Red.<\/p>\n \u201cGetting the right beat to the right person has always been an important part of the process to me,\u201d Al captioned the photo. \u201cNever landed one with the dog [DMX] unfortunately. Or Red & Meth. Imagine tho.<\/p>\n \u201cI save everything . got boxes full of shit.
