Frieren: Beyond Journey\u2019s End<\/em> Season 2 was announced in September 2024, one year after the two-cour first season premiered on September 29, 2023 JST. The anime adapts the\u00a0Shogakukan-published fantasy manga written by Kanehito Yamada<\/b>, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2020 and will release its 14th tankoubon volume on March 18, 2025 JST. It won the grand prize at Manga Taisho 2021 and was one of the winners of the 69th Shogakukan Manga Award.<\/span><\/p>\n
