Cardi B\u2018s $3.9 million judgment won in her defamation lawsuit against YouTube<\/a>r Tasha K has been years in the making, but a payment plan for the full amount has finally been officially laid out.<\/p>\n As previously reported, Tasha\u2019s legal team recently agreed to a payment plan that will equate to just under $1.2 million over the course of five years as part of her bankruptcy filing. In return, Cardi dropped her objections to said bankruptcy filing.<\/p>\n AD LOADING…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But clearly that amount only covers a portion of the full $3,911,680.95 judgement \u2013 and now according to documents viewed by HipHopDX<\/em>, a judge has signed off on Tasha\u2019s plan to pay Cardi portions of any income she brings in over time until she satisfies the full amount.<\/p>\n Throughout this process, the blogger will have to submit copies of her tax returns to Cardi\u2019s legal team as well as file quarterly reports with the court about the income she\u2019s generating.<\/p>\n As part of the plan, Tasha is also barred from making any derogatory or defamatory comments about the Bronx superstar or her family.<\/p>\n The battle has been ongoing since Cardi B first filed the lawsuit in 2019 over what her lawyers said was a \u201cmalicious campaign\u201d to hurt Cardi\u2019s career and reputation. She made videos claiming Cardi had committed sex acts \u201cwith beer bottles on fucking strip<\/a>per stages,\u201d while others accused her of being a prostitute who\u2019d contracted herpes.<\/p>\n Bardi won in 2022, which resulted in Tasha (real name Latasha Kebe) being ordered to take down over 20 illicit and defamatory videos about Cardi and never post about the \u201cBodak Yellow\u201d rapp<\/a>er again.<\/p>\n However, it\u2019s since been a battle to get the money, with Tasha filing for bankruptcy back in 2023.<\/p>\n Cardi then attempted to get the YouTuber\u2019s bankruptcy case thrown out, claiming claimed that Tasha and her husband had \u201corchestrated a months-long scheme to hinder, delay, and defraud\u201d the Bronx rapper\u2019s efforts to collect the $3.9 million.<\/p>\n Tasha then hit back in court in January, claiming that Cardi\u2019s attempt to get the bankruptcy attempted nixed is actually a backdoor attempt to silence her voice. She says that Cardi is insisting on a non-disparagement clause \u201cso broad that it would undermine [Tasha\u2019s] Career.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe seeks to sabotage Debtor\u2019s Career through unreasonable restrictions on her First Amendment rights,\u201d the filing continues. \u201cHaving failed to bully Debtor into accepting an overarching non-disparagement clause, Claimant filed the Motion to Dismiss to harm Debtor\u2019s Career and end Debtor\u2019s bankruptcy case.\u201d<\/p>\n As mentioned above, Cardi withdrew her objection to Tasha\u2019s bankruptcy so that the payment plan could go through.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
